Share our passion for data
Boobook is looking for a Data Scientist to join our team. This role is based in our office in Belgium (near Ghent) but will also involve regularly working with colleagues in the London office.
At boobook, we do not want to be academics nor pure mathematicians, but consultants who use all kinds of data to solve business problems. In this role you will be required to understand the client's business issue and to deliver insights drawing on all your analytical expertise. You will develop custom solutions drawing on a wide range of multivariate analysis techniques including predictive modelling, conjoint, segmentation, pricing analysis, data mining and many others. Just like us, you are curious to discover the stories behind the data and love to guide our clients through the meaning of their results and reports.
Grow with us
Working on a diverse set of projects gives you the opportunity to use and taste different techniques and to explore new ways of thinking. We are innovative, so look for fresh ideas that help us move to the next level.
This role is much more than a pure analysis role. It requires creative thinking, client communication (from sales to smart reporting) and thinking about how we can apply our skills and services to a wider set of business problems, including big data projects.
This role will allow you to have a say in how things are done, in a company where you will be listened to and your ideas developed.
Who are we looking for?
A Data Scientist passionate about quantitative analysis, eager to make (Big) data useful instead of just talking about it, motivated & keen to mine for insights behind data, willing to learn, a creative thinker, a strong communicator who likes client contact.
What do you need for the position?
