Boobook event: Managing data overload through online visual storytelling

Today’s abundance of data makes it increasingly difficult to deliver relevant messages without overwhelming your audience. To address this major business challenge, boobook is organising two lunch events that explain how online visual storytelling can help prevent data overload.

 

Businesses — and people — are inundated with information these days. At the same time, the market is swamped with new tools and software packages intended to help visualise the massive amount of data available. While most of these tools are great, the user often forgets that software will not decide what should be visualised, in what way or how the story should be built.

 

Deliver insights in the most powerful way

To help you with that, we will explore how to tell a story based on data in the most effective way, using the right information and tools, during our lunch events. The first event will take place in Brussels at the end of May (date to follow shortly), followed up by a second session in London on 2 June.

At each session, one of our clients (Deloitte in London, details for Brussels to follow) will explain how they manage their data. After the customer story, boobook’s founder and managing director, Nicole Huyghe, will share her experiences in transforming data and analytical results. Nicole will present some practical cases and useful tips, as well as go over some of the new tools that are available.

Practicalities

If you ever need to deliver visually-catchy reports quickly and effectively on- or offline, then this event is for you! Both sessions will start at 12h00, take only 2 hours of your time, and are free of charge.

  • Nicole will present boobook’s views on and experiences of reporting results and turning them into compelling stories, both on- and offline.
